What is a keychain for your cursor?
A cursor keychain is a small charm that hangs from your mouse pointer as you move it around your desktop. poinket brings that idea to life with swinging, physics-based charms.
How does the cursor keychain move?
Your charm follows your mouse cursor, swinging and settling with physics-based motion. It adds a dangling charm to your pointer rather than replacing it with a different cursor design.
Is the poinket cursor keychain free?
The current poinket test build is free to download, and every charm in the free library is free to use. Custom charms are a separate, paid offering made just for you.
Can I add a cursor keychain on Windows or macOS?
poinket has test builds for Windows and macOS. Download the build for your computer to try a keychain for your cursor. These early builds are unsigned, so your computer may show a warning before opening them. The app is still in development and may have rough edges.
Where can I find free charms for my cursor?
Browse the free charm library on this page to find charms for your poinket keychain. The collection updates automatically as new charms are added, using the same manifest that the desktop app checks for library updates.
Can I request a custom cursor charm?
Yes. Send your idea on the request page and we will email you to talk it through. A finished custom charm is $20, and you approve a draft before paying. Once your charm is done you receive a personal code to add it to your poinket library.
How do custom charm codes work?
Every custom charm comes with its own unique code. Choose the option to redeem a code in the poinket desktop app, enter it, and the charm is added to your library. Keep the code to yourself to keep the charm private, or share it with friends if you want them to be able to add it too.
